With the month of June came the annual Barnwell Family Beach Trip. We all spent a week together in a house at Surfside Beach, SC. Abigail had her first experiences with sand, ocean waves and a swimming pool.
We took Abigail out to the beach the first evening and you can tell by the expression on her face it was love at first sight. That's my girl!
Sunday was Johnathan's first father's day and he got to spend it enjoying the beach with his daughter.

This girl loves the beach. I thought she might want to sit on the towel instead of the sand but it didn't last more than a couple minutes.

Johnathan hates sand so I had to snap this picture when I caught him sitting in it. I think he's trying to ease himself in so he'll be ready to build sandcastles next year.
It was a little chilly one morning but that didn't stop us from heading out to make the most of our time there.
